Concert promoter The Bowery Presents has begun its inaugural season of live performances at the newly-completed Roadrunner concert hall in Brighton.

Bluegrass guitarist Billy Strings kicked off the 2022 schedule on March 15 at the 3,500-capacity facility, which becomes New England’s largest general admission music venue. Performances are scheduled by LCD Soundsystem, Olivia Rodrigo and the Decemberists in coming months.

Designed by studioTYAK, the 50,000-square-foot multi-level facility is equipped with a 60-foot stage, sound system designed by French audio manufacturer L-Acoustics and artwork inspired by the cover of the 1976 album “Jonathan Richman and The Modern Lovers.”

They Said It:

“When we realized we could build a dream venue from the ground up in Brighton, we knew it was the perfect fit. The opening of Roadrunner fills a void in Boston’s music scene.”
