Braidy Industries has leased 50,000 square feet at Waltham Research Park, a three-building, 220,000-square-foot complex owned by Hillside Assoc.

Braidy Industries recently acquired Veloxint Corp. and will use the Waltham Research Park facility for the home of Veloxint Research prototyping facilities to develop metals used in vehicles and aircraft. Valoxint was previously headquartered in Framingham, where it grew from 5,000 to 50,000 square feet.

Renovated in 2017, the buildings are suitable for office, R&D and lab space. R.W. Holmes’ Senior Vice President Arthur Amadei is the exclusive listing agent for Waltham Research Park. T3 Advisors represented Braidy Industries.

They Said It:

“After QinetiQ extended their lease for 127,000 square feet, ownership committed to a major renovation for all three buildings. The multimillion-dollar renovations underway, and the central location of the park, brought our newest tenant, Braidy/Veloxint, to the park. Braidy/Veloxint signed a long-term lease for approximately 50,000 square feet. The remaining 58,000 square feet is showing strong interest from tenants in the Cambridge/West market.” — Arthur Amadei, senior vice president, R.W. Holmes
