Investment Management Firm Leases 280K SF In Boston’s Back Bay

MFS Investment Management (MFS) has leased the top 10 floors of the Prudential Center located at 111 Huntington Ave. in Boston.

The firm will occupy 280,000 square feet space in the Back Bay location during the first quarter of 2013 and use it as their world headquarters, according to a statement. MFS will relocate from 500 Boylston St.

Bill McCall, David L. Richardson, Garrett Larivee and Charles Landry of Boston-based commercial real estate brokerage and advisory firm McCall & Almy represented MFS in the lease negotiation.

“McCall & Almy did a fine job understanding our requirements and helping us to locate new space,” said Amrit Kanwal, chief financial officer for MFS. "We are pleased to be staying in the Back Bay, which has been our home for more than 50 years."
