Investors Acquire Malden Bank Branch Building For $2.5M

An investor has purchased the Eastern Bank branch at 94-106 Pleasant St. in downtown Malden for $2.5 million.

Weston-based 100 Pleasant LLC closed on the property, previously owned by Red Brick Development LLC of Boston, on July 21. 100 Pleasant LLC acquired the former Sparks department store building next to the bank in 2014. That building was recently leased to Swedish gaming company Boda Borg.

Steve Nohrden and Phillip Burgess of Malden-based Burgess Properties Inc. were the sole brokers in the Eastern Bank transaction.
