Andy Kakish has been named a project superintendent at Quincy-based construction management firm J. Calnan & Assoc. Inc. (JC&A).

In this role, Kakish will be responsible for completing projects on-time and within budget while running safe and efficient jobsites, according to a statement. He will also be in direct daily contact with the client’s representative, as well as the client’s architect and engineers to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with all plan specifications and applicable building codes. Kakish will be responsible for the daily construction trade coordination, project schedule delivery, quality control, safety and security.

"Andy is a well respected individual with a proven track record of running successful jobsites across various markets including corporate, private schools and life sciences," said JC&A Vice President Mike Crowther.

Kakish has close to 10 years experience in the construction industry.
