Quincy-based Jumbo Capital Management has acquired 1099 Hingham St. in Rockland for $8.5 million from Rockland Haverstraw Trust, an affiliate of The Grossman Cos. of Quincy.

The three-story, 64,575-square-foot office complex built in 1989 is 94-percent leased to six tenants including RS Means and UBS Financial.

JLL Managing Directors Frank Petz and Jessica Hughes, Vice President Robert Borden and Associate George Gregory led the JLL team on the transaction, while Senior Vice President Jon Schneider secured financing on behalf of Jumbo Capital.

In the past 18 months, Jumbo Capital has acquired nearly $150 million of commercial real estate in the region, including 150 Royall St. in Canton, 100 Crosby Drive in Bedford and 1900 Crown Colony Drive in Quincy. It currently owns 18 properties totaling over 2 million square feet.

“We continue to invest in the South Shore market because it is unbeatable in terms of price, amenities, access to talent and distance to public transportation and the major highways,” Jay Hirsh, managing partner of Jumbo Capital, said in a statement.
