A recent office-to-lab conversion by Jumbo Capital in Waltham received commitments from four new tenants totaling nearly 50,000 square feet.

Tech equipment manufacturer Veeco and Alcresta Therapeutics leased 16,506 and 14,441 square feet, respectively. Cugene and Opinion Dynamics signed leases for 9,460 and 8,848 square feet.

Newmark represented ownership in the lease transactions at 130 Turner St.

The Stony Brook campus contains 270,000 square feet of lab and R&D space following Jumbo Capital’s recent conversion from office space. The complex includes a new fitness center and full-service cafeteria, shared conference center and outdoor amenity space.

Jumbo Capital acquired the campus in 2018 for $80 million.
