A joint venture of Boston-based Taurus Investment Holdings and PhilMor Real Estate Investments of Needham has sold a Beverly townhouse-style apartment complex for $72.7 million.

The buyers, an affiliate of The DSF Group of Waltham, plans to add its Halsted-branded amenity program to the 204-unit complex located on 12.6 acres at 201 Broughton Drive. Existing common area features include a clubhouse, pool, fitness center and community room.

CBRE’s Simon Butler, Biria St. John and John McLaughlin represented the sellers and procured the buyer.

“Townhomes of Beverly provides The DSF Group with the unique opportunity to generate strong long-term returns given the strategic location coupled with the quality of the asset and lack of new supply in the market,” St. John said in a statement.

The property offers three different unit styles averaging 973 square feet.
