A manufacturing of high-performance aerial lift platforms will occupy an industrial space at 137 Barnum Road in the Devens business park.

CMC U.S. Inc. leased 19,527 square feet from the property owners, D’Ambrosio Enterprises.

The two-story, 72,000-square-foot facility was completed in 2009 and includes industrial space with 24-foot clear heights and office space.

Micah Stubblebine of The Stubblebine Company represented the tenant in its negotiations with D’Ambrosio Enterprises, which was represented by George Robb of Omni Properties.

Vacancies in Greater Boston’s industrial real estate market rose for the first time in two years during the third quarter, according to a report by brokerage Newmark, hitting 3.3 percent. Asking rents set a historic high for the 19th consecutive quarter, and now stand at $13.88 per square foot on a triple-net basis.

Approximately 2.4 million square feet of speculative office space is scheduled for completion by the end of the year, and another 1.5 million square feet got under way in the third quarter, Newmark reported.
