Two growing restaurant chains will anchor the ground-floor space at a Malden Center commercial redevelopment.
110 Grill and Evviva Trattoria are scheduled to open in mid-2021 at the Exchange 200 property across from the MBTA’s Malden Center station, developer Berkeley Investments said.
Specializing in casual American cuisine, 110 Grill leased 6,470 square feet while Evviva Trattoria will occupy 5,830 square feet including an outdoor patio.
Westford-based 110 Grill has 18 locations in Massachusetts and has announced expansion plans for up to 40 locations in the Northeast.
Newmark Knight Frank’s Pat Paladino represented ownership in the lease transactions, while Aries Commercial Real Estate’s Jeff White represented the tenants.
Berkeley Investments bought the former bank data center in 200 Exchange St. for $21.7 million 2016 and received a $61-million loan from Deutsche Bank in 2019 to redevelop the 300,000-square-foot building for lab, life science, R&D and creative office space.
