The Greater Boston Real Estate Board and the Massachusetts Association of Realtors have released addendums to their standard purchase and sale form in response to the new TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure TRID rules, which take effect tomorrow.
The one-page forms spell out the responsibilities of both sellers and buyers to provide and respond to information in a timely way, so as to avoid last-minute changes that could result in a delay in the closing date.
It also states that neither party can sue the other for TRID-related delays.
Both forms are available through the respective associations’ websites.
