A Framingham farm could become the latest marijuana growing facility in Massachusetts under a plan to be put to the city’s planning board tonight.

According to the MetroWest Daily News, Commonwealth Farm 1761 Inc. wants to invest $10 million building a marijuana grow and a product manufacturing building at the city’s Eastleigh Farm. The paper reports Commonwealth Farm is negotiating a 99-year lease for the property.

The Commonwealth Farm application states the site would employ around 65 people in a 2-story, 72,600-square-foot cultivation facility and a 2-story, 39,100-square-foot “support building”
