Even though the average 30-year mortgage rate in Massachusetts fell last week to 5.68 percent from 5.78 percent the week prior, rates in the Bay State are once again the highest in the country, tied with Wisconsin, according to online mortgage tracker Zillow.

Nationwide, the average 30-year mortgage rate last week was 5.58 percent, down from 5.72 percent the week before.

Florida had the lowest average rates in the country last week, at 5.50 percent.
