The MathWorks Inc. has purchased a three-story, 170,000-square-foot office building at One Apple Hill in Natick for $30.8 million.
MathWorks has also received approval to build an additional 150,000 square feet at Apple Hill. MathWorks also occupies Two & Three Apple Hill, which it acquired in 2004, according to a statement.
The MathWorks is a developer of technical computing and model-based design software for engineers and scientists in industry, government and education worldwide. The company employs more than 1,500 people and has offices in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
