McLaren Dealer Buys Property for $5.6M

The McLaren Boston auto dealership has acquired its property at 22 Pond St. in Norwell from Herb Chambers Cos. for $5.6 million.

Fronting on Route 228 next to the intersection of Route 53, the 2.4-acre property contains a 21,084-square-foot showroom, service area with 18- to 22-foot clear heights and 175 parking spaces.

NAI Hunneman south team members Cathy Minnerly and Ovar Osvold represented the seller. The buyer was represented by Kathy Doyle of Curran Capital LLC.

McLaren Auto exercised a purchase option on the property to give it more flexibility for growth and improvements, Minnerly said in a statement.
