Middleborough Hotel Sold to Lexington Firm for $9M

A Middleborough hotel was acquired by a Lexington investor this week for a price more than double its previous trade in 2016.

The 100-key Fairfield Inn & Suites at 4 Chalet Road in Middleborough was sold to JHM Middleboro LLC, a corporation which is registered to Ashok Patel of Lexington-based Jamsan Management.

Located near the junction of Interstates 495 and 44, the hotel underwent a $3.3-million renovation in early 2018, according to JLL.

JNR paid $4.85 million for the property in May 2016, according to a Plymouth County deed.

The hotel was originally completed in 1989 and spans 46,697 square feet on a 2.5-acre property, according to assessors’ records.

JLL’s Alan Suzuki, Matthew Enright and Emily Zhang represented the seller in the latest transaction.
