Mighty Squirrel Brewing Co. has picked Waltham’s Waverley Oaks Park for the location of its new production brewery and tap room.

The contract craft brewer signed a 15-year lease for 23,000 square feet at Duffy Properties’ 411 Waverley Oaks Road building one, part of the 1.2-million-square-foot office park set on 300 acres. Duffy Properties said in a statement that the brewery’s arrival is part of a strategy to provide tenants with “exciting amenities just steps from their office doors.”

NAI Hunneman’s Peter Evans and Colin Gordon represented Mighty Squirrel and its suburban team of Steve James, Leeanne Rizzo and Patrick Grady represented Duffy Properties.

Founded in 2013 by Naveen Pawar and Henry Manice, Mighty Squirrel distributes varieties including New England style IPA “Cloud Candy,” Kiwi White and Mocha Stout in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
