The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) in Boston has announced it will renovate its Huntington Avenue location with state funds.

The 350 Huntington Ave. campus will get new lighting and windows, as well as updated mechanical and electrical systems through a $7 million MassDevelopment bond.

TD Bank purchased the bond.

“This bond will allow the MSPCA to update its Boston home and better serve the many animals that receive care, love and forever homes thanks to the organization’s efforts,” MassDevelopment President and CEO Marty Jones said in a statement. “We are pleased to lend a paw in this effort and support the MSPCA as it advocates for animals and those who care for them.”
