Nahigian Appointed To MassHighway Real Estate Appraisal Review Board

Rob Nahigian of Auburndale Realty Co. in Newton has been appointed by Gov. Deval Patrick to the MassHighway Real Estate Appraisal Review Board.

The Real Estate Appraisal Review Board evaluates and approves significant interests in real estate acquisition by eminent domain by MassHighway throughout the commonwealth for the advancement of public works construction projects.

Such projects can include new highways, bridges, roads, etc. With this five-person board, MassHighway is better able to maintain a "right-of-way process" that runs smoothly and effectively, said the real estate firm.

Nahigian’s term runs until May 20, 2012. Patrick said he appreciated Nahigian’s willingness to serve the commonwealth in this capacity and for his experience and sound judgment that will contribute substantially to the board.
