Held Wednesday at Stow Acres, the tournament drew more than 350 golfers from all sectors of the commercial real estate industry. Through corporate sponsorships and individual donations, the chapter raised 25 percent more than in 2009, bringing NAIOP’s total donations to Heading Home over the tournament’s history to nearly $1.5 million, according to a statement.

"Our donors continue to amaze me with their generosity and their commitment to the problems faced by the homelessness in our society," said NAIOP CEO David Begelfer, who was recently honored by the Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance for his work with Heading Home. "There is a special affinity between the commercial real estate community and those working to end homelessness, and NAIOP is proud of our partnership with Heading Home, a leader in the Housing First movement."

The tournament was organized by the NAIOP Charitable Events Committee, led by Committee Chair Tom Collins of Cushman & Wakefield of Massachusetts Inc. and Vice Chair Bob Hayes of KeyPoint Partners LLC.
