Needham-based RK Centers has made its second Framingham acquisition in weeks with the $23 million purchase of a grocery-anchored retail property.

RK acquired the 80,000-square-foot center at 235 Old Connecticut Path from a joint venture overseen by Regency Centers. The property is anchored by a Super Stop & Shop has one 5,440-square-foot space available for lease.

Newmark Knight Frank’s Geoffrey Millerd represented the seller, a joint venture overseen by Regency Centers.

The latest transaction follows RK Centers’ Nov. 13 acquisition of 400 Cochituate Road, a 178,000-square-foot retail center occupied by Home Goods, Panera and Game Stop, for $12.9 million.

RK Centers has completed $114 million in acquisitions at eight properties since mid-2019 and now owns and manages over 9 million square feet of retail properties.
