Tenants have signed four new leases and one expansion plan for 25,145 square feet of new space at One Alewife Center in North Cambridge.

Leading off, Permabit Technology Corp., a software company, signed a new lease for 11,758 square feet. Basis Technology Corp. has expanded its footprint at the property by more than 5,800 square feet to 18,369 square feet to support its multilingual text analytics and digital forensics work.

After that, Belmont Technology Inc., a new startup formed by SolidWorks founder Jon Hirschtick and a number of his former SolidWorks colleagues, leased 4,930 square feet to house the growing product-design company. CDA Collaborative Learning Projects Inc., a nonprofit organization promoting humanitarian, sustainability and peace efforts, has leased 2,657 square feet of office space.

Beverly-based Brookwood Financial Partners LLC bought the Cambridge property from New Boston Fund for $12 million, according to information from The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman. New Boston bought the building for $15.7 million in 1999.
