Hanover-based Linchris Hotel Corp. has acquired the Radisson Hotel Plymouth Harbor and has begun a $5.7 million renovation as it rebrands it as the Hotel 1620 Plymouth Harbor.

The sales price was $7.85 million, according to Plymouth County Registry of Deeds filings. The seller was an affiliate of Irving, Texas-based C-III Capital Partners.

The 175-room full-service hotel will remain open year-round. Linchris took over operation of the hotel and is overseeing a $5.7 million interior and exterior renovation. The hotel includes a restaurant and bar, indoor pool, business and fitness centers and 15,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space.

C-III brokered the sale. Financing was provided by Washington Trust. Founded in 1985, Linchris Hotel Corp. currently owns and manages 36 hotels including 10 properties in Massachusetts.
