An Orange Leaf frozen yogurt store is coming to Woburn.
Christopher Ragusa and Michael Balas of Newburyport-based Ryeknot Properties LLC purchased a 6,800-square-foot building at 307 Main St. in Woburn for $625,000 and received permits to renovate the first floor of the property.
The building’s long-vacant retail space was previously occupied by Masotta’s Variety Store. The owner will also renovate the three units on the floors above, previously used as a private residence, and expand the building to including four new dwelling units on the vacant High Street lot above 14 parking spaces.
The 58-seat Orange Leaf will open this summer. The Oklahoma-based company will be operated by a local franchisee.
Chris McMahon of Summit Realty Partners represented the buyer and Peter Carbone of Carbone Commercial Real Estate represented the seller in the transaction.
