Canadian real estate investors Oxford Properties have bought a South Boston bus garage near the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center for $25 million, according to Suffolk County Registry of Deeds records.

The property at 370 West First St. is assessed at $1.7 million, according to Boston property records.The 1.29-acre property has a 14,560-square-foot building that serves as the garage for the Yankee Lines bus company.

Oxford Properties Group, the real estate arm of the Ontario municipal employees’ pension fund, has acquired eight trophy office buildings in Boston and Cambridge since 2014 and recently proposed a tower on the site of a garage between Boston’s Leather District and Chinatown it bought for $39 million in 2017.
