Daniel P. Perruzzi Jr., principal at Boston-based Margulies Perruzzi Architects, has been named to the Massachusetts Building Congress board of directors.

He will serve on the organization’s program committee where he will assist in the planning of events and forums, according to a statement.

Perruzzi has more than 30 years of experience as an architect, project manager and principal, according to a statement. He is also a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Boston Society of Architects.
