Johnathan Tortora joins Middlesex Federal Savings Bank as branch manager of the Davis Square office in Somerville. Tortora previously was a branch manager for Santander at the Belmont, Winchester and Woburn branches.
Bristol County Savings Bank
Amy Briggs has been promoted to assistant vice president and branch manager of Bristol County Savings Bank’s Raynham office. Marlene C. Lira has also been promoted at Bristol County Savings Bank to branch manager of the New Bedford office on Ashley Boulevard.
Rodman CPAs
Scott W. Davis joins Rodman CPAs of Waltham as senior tax manager. Davis previously worked at Arthur Anderson and had his own accounting practice.
CBT
Vickie Alani has been promoted to principal at CBT of Boston. Alani joined CBT in 2016 as an architect.
Newburyport Bank
Thomas L. Strickler joins Newburyport Bank as vice president and managing director of the bank’s new private client group. Matthew J. Martin Jr. also joins Newburyport Bank as vice president and branch administrator for all eight branch locations. Strickler previously was vice president of business development at The Savings Bank and assistant vice president and premier relationship manager at Citizens Bank. Martin previously held branch management positions at Citizens Bank and Bank of America.
Mansfield Bank
Karen Dayton joins Mansfield Bank as business development and government banking officer. Dayton regularly volunteers with the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Cradles to Crayons, ASPCA and the Greater Boston Food Bank.
Posternak Blankstein & Lund
Dean P. Phelps joins Posternak Blankstein & Lund of Boston as associate in the intellectual property and technology practice group. Phelps previously worked as a researcher at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals before becoming a lawyer.

Leah Fitzgerald joins Acella Construction Corp. of Pembroke as an assistant superintendent. Fitzgerald previously worked at CHA Consulting.
