Action for Boston Community Development recently re-elected John McGahan to the position of board chairman for the 2016 to 2017 session. McGahan joined the board of directors in 2008. Yvonne Jones, a community activist, will take on the role of first vice chair of the board, serving in McGahan’s stead when he is unavailable.

Bond Brothers has hired Dennis Keough, P.E., as vice president of power generation and Tim Peer, P.E., as vice president of district energy. The managers of Dedham Institution for Savings recently recognized Vice President of Marketing Lois Lovely for her 50 years of service. Lovely began her career at Dedham Savings in 1966, shortly after graduating high school. Before joining the marketing department in 1984, Lovely worked as a teller, customer service representative, bookkeeping department supervisor and internal auditor.

Direct Federal Credit Union has named Robert J. Gill to a three-year term on its board of directors. Gill has been a Direct Federal Credit Union member for 49 years and is currently the managing partner at the Gill Realty Group, Keller Williams Realty International.

East Boston Savings Bank and Meridian Bancorp Inc. announced the appointment of three new members to the boards of directors. Russell Chin, Esq., and Cynthia Carney are joining the board of directors for both Meridian Bancorp Inc. and East Boston Savings Bank, while Sandra Caggiano is joining the board of directors for East Boston Savings Bank.

Vetere, who joined the firm in 2008, previously served as the principal and director of technical services with Gemini Geotechnical Assoc. Inc. in North Hampton, New Hampshire. His areas of expertise are environmental and geotechnical engineering.

North Brookfield Savings Bank recently promoted Kathy Grigas and Ann Brady to senior accounting specialist and senior accountant and assistant controller, respectively. Grigas and Brady both previously served as accounting clerks for NBSB. In her new role, Grigas will manage accounts payables and will compile, verify and balance the daily general ledger. Brady will prepare monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting, monitor balances at the Federal Reserve and correspondent banks. She will also fund, balance and process investments.

The Boston-based architectural firm TRIA recently welcomed six new staff members to its growing design team. Lucianna Lucarelli was hired as director of interiors, while John Hubbard was hired as project manager. Anna Evangelista has joined TRIA as architect II and Scott Harrison, Anthony Wolff and Mike Evers have been hired as architect.
