Danvers-based surveying and civil engineering firm Hancock Assoc. promoted Vice President Scott Jalbert to senior vice president. He is responsible for overseeing survey operations of the Danvers office and coordinates the collaboration of survey efforts among Hancock’s five regional offices.

Knox Financial

Boston-based investment property company Knox Financial announced the hiring of Chief Product Officer Chris Baker. Baker will oversee development of the product roadmap for the Knox Frictionless Ownership Platform, which integrates financing and refinancing, accounting, tax, legal, insurance, tenant sourcing and communication, property maintenance and other aspects of property investment.

Santander Bank

Santander Bank’s holding company has named Brian Yoshida to the position of chief legal officer and Joe Abruzzo to the position of head of commercial banking for Santander Bank’s Boston-based American division. Yoshida was most recently senior vice president and senior deputy general counsel of Buffalo, New York-based M&T Bank. Abruzzo joins Santander from HSBC where he was most recently head of the large corporate and mid-market commercial banking unit.
