Boston-based developer and multifamily landlord City Realty has promoted Reema Shrestha to executive vice president in charge of closings in acquisitions, dispositions and refinancing.
CORE Investments
Boston-based real estate firm CORE Investments has has hired two new executives to help guide growth of its On the Dot development project near Andrew Square, as the company expands its operations in South Boston and elsewhere in the city. Gary Lilienthal, previously a partner at Bernkopf Goodman, has been named the firm’s general counsel. Steven Brooks has been named vice president of asset services and was previously vice president of asset management for Boston-based Plymouth Industrial REIT.

Bruce Percelay, founder and chairman of Boston-based developer The Mount Vernon Co., was elected the new chair of the board at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate.
People’s United Bank
Connecticut-based People’s United Bank has named Jan Garvey as senior vice president and head of government banking products. Most recently, Garvey was at CIT Bank as a director and head of treasury product management.

Rockland Trust has named two new members of its investment management group. William Logan was named a vice president and commercial financial consultant, and Patricia Regan was named vice president and relationship manager for the South Shore and Cape Cod. Regan joins Rockland Trust after 11 years as a regional vice president for Prudential Financial; Logan was most recently a senior leader at Ledyard Financial Advisors, Citizens Private Wealth Management, Fidelity Family Office Services and BNY Mellon Private Wealth Management.
