Pembroke-based Acella Construction Corp. has hired Darla Brooks as its new controller and director of human services. Brooks was previously vice president of finance and human resources at Payton Construction.
Berkshire Bank
Boston-based Berkshire Bank has hired Lucia Bellomia as its new executive vice president and head of retail banking. Bellomia was most recently the executive senior vice president of community banking for Bank of America’s Northeast region.
Boston Realty Advisors
Boston Realty Advisors has hired Bill McIntyre as its chief financial officer for the company and its Advisors Living arm. McIntyre was previously regional vice president and CFO for the Northeast arm of NRT, a subsidiary of Coldwell Banker parent company Realogy Holdings.
Bristol County Savings
Taunton-based Bristol County Savings Bank announced three promotions:
- Tim Chaves to first senior vice president of commercial lending.
- Linda Sternfelt to senior vice president and chief credit officer.
- Michael Patacao to senior vice president of commercial lending and team leader for the bank’s Taunton region.
Cummings
Woburn-based Cummings’ philanthropic arm, Cummings Foundation, has named Joyce Vyriotes as its next executive director. She will retain her role as Cummings’ director of communications and marketing and as a member of the firm’s executive committee.
The Davis Cos.
Boston-based developer The Davis Cos. has hired Kristopher Yetman as vice president of development, a newly-created role focused on early-stage pre-development activities such as project originations and acquisitions, underwriting and entitlements, conceptual design and budgeting for its portfolio of ground-up and redevelopment projects. Yetman was previously a senior development director at Benchmark Senior Living in Waltham.
The Peabody Cos.
Braintree-based real estate and property management firm The Peabody Cos. has hired Leah Sahlu as a senior property manager. Sahlu was previously in a similar role with WinnCompanies.
The company also announced that multi-site area property manager Victoria Hanson has obtained the national affordable housing professional executive designation through the National Affordable Housing Management Association.
Rockland Trust
Hanover-based Rockland Trust has hired Frank McNamara as a vice president and financial consultant for tis wealth management division. McNamara was previously an external wholesaler for a number of firms, including WealthVest, Foresters Financial, Cohen & Steers, and Turner Investments for 15 years.
ULI Boston/New England
Real estate trade group ULI Boston/New England has hired Tim Moore as its new manager, overseeing events and programming including the regional technical assistance panel program. Moore was previously director of new markets and development at Brooklyn-based Shelbourne Global Solutions.
The Village Bank
Newton’s The Village Bank announced Donna Latson Gittens has been elected to its board of directors. Gittens is a former WCVB-TV executive and the founder and CEO of MORE Advertising in Watertown, which focuses on mission-based and cause-related marketing.
