Bridgewater Financial Advisors, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and the South Shore Chamber of Commerce are among the institutions announcing changes to personnel in this week’s roundup.

 

Financial Advisors

James Flynn has joined Bridgewater Financial Advisors, located at Bridgewater Savings Bank, as a registered representative of Infinex Investments Inc. Flynn joins the company with over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, having worked previously at Bank of New York – Mellon Bank, Merrill Lynch and Putnam Investments.

Bristol County Savings Bank

Bristol County Savings Bank announced the appointment of Nancy Cabral to the position of branch manager of the Southcoast region. In this capacity, she will support the bank’s business development efforts in the New Bedford market. Prior to joining Bristol County Savings Bank, Cabral held several positions at Santander and its predecessor banks for more than 30 years. Most recently, she served as vice president and branch manager at Santander’s Union Street location in New Bedford.  Fluent in Portuguese, Cabral also held various management positions at Compass Bank in the Southcoast.

 

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England has announced that Kim Sandler has been appointed branch manager of the company’s Topsfield office. Sandler will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and oversight of approximately 35 affiliated real estate professionals serving Topsfield, Boxford, Danvers, Middleton and the surrounding communities. With more than 20 years of real estate experience, Sandler most recently served as a top-producing sales associate affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Topsfield.

Direct Federal Credit Union

Direct Federal Credit Union has named Jackie Bobola to the position of Controller. In this role, she will be responsible for the day to day operations of the accounting department and ensuring that all accounting procedures are in place. She brings close to 30 years of banking experience to her role at Direct Federal Credit Union. Prior to joining the credit union Bobola was a vice president of finance and CFO of SouthCoast Federal Credit Union in New Bedford.

 

MassDevelopment

Dena (Fazio) Kavanagh has joined MassDevelopment as the agency’s Deputy General Counsel, bringing legal and business expertise in real estate and financing transactions. Kavanagh’s private practice included representing clients as a finance associate at Robinson+Cole and a real estate associate at Hinckley Allen.

 

New England SIOR

The New England Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) recently named Timothy Brodigan of Colliers International as chapter president. Brodigan is succeeding Donald J. Mancini, principal at Kelleher & Sadowsky Assoc. Inc., and is joined by new officers Mike Giuttari, president of MG Commercial Real Estate (vice president); Katherine Williams Kane, president of Williams ReloLogic and Maestro Consulting (treasurer); and George Paskalis, senior vice president at MG Commercial Real Estate (secretary) in key chapter leadership positions.

South Shore Chamber of Commerce

The South Shore Chamber of Commerce announced that Jason Milligan, senior vice president and business banking market manager with Citizens Bank, has been appointed to a three-year term on the chamber’s board of directors. Milligan will work to help oversee general strategy and direction for the chamber.

 

The Cooperative Bank

The Cooperative Bank announced the recent hire of Barbara Scanlon O’Brien as mortgage loan originator. In this role, O’Brien will utilize TCB’s well-developed network in the bank’s CRA lending area to generate qualified residential mortgage business. O’Brien will support the strategic goals of the bank by representing TCB in various community-based activities, and keep on track of local real estate trends and developments.
