American Institute of Architects

The 2017 Jury of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects added Jocelyn Frederick, principal at Tsoi/Kobus & Assoc. in Cambridge, to its College of Fellows, awarded to members who have made significant contributions to the profession.

 

Boston Harbor Now

Boston Harbor Now, a nonprofit dedicated to the preservation and improvement of Boston’s waterfront, harbor and islands, announced that Ann R. Klee of GE and Jeffrey Porter of Mintz Levin will join the organization’s board of trustees. Both individuals bring decades of experience to the intersection of law, business and the environment.

 

Cambridge Savings Bank

Cambridge Savings Bank announced the appointment of Christine Flaherty as vice president and commercial real estate loan officer. Flaherty will be responsible for developing new commercial relationships and deal origination of commercial and construction real estate loans within the bank’s targeted market. She comes to Cambridge Savings Bank with over 20 years of experience in commercial banking, most recently as vice president at Boston Private.

 

CENTURY 21 Commonwealth

CENTURY 21 Commonwealth announced Jonathan de Araujo has joined the Lexington office. De Araujo brings 12 years of industry experience to the agency. Previously with REMAX Leading Edge, he began his real estate career owning multifamily rental properties and flipping foreclosed properties.

 

Cushman & Wakefield

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Paul Leone joined the firm as an executive director working in the Metrowest and South Market teams. Leone specializes in the leasing and sale of office, industrial and research and development space, and joins Cushman & Wakefield with over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to his new position, Leone worked as a partner at Transwestern RBJ.

 

Global Impact Investing Network

The Global Impact Investing Network announced the appointment of Mark Grier as its new board chair. Grier serves as vice chairman at Prudential Financial Inc. Grier is a member of the office of the chairman and its board of directors and oversees the chief investment, finance, risk management, corporate actuarial and investor relations functions. He also leads the Global Strategic Initiatives group that oversees Prudential’s international retirement and China strategies.

 

Greylock Federal Credit Union

Greylock Federal Credit Union announced the promotions of Brad J. Felix to assistant vice president and business banking officer and Mark Kaley to member service contact center manager. Felix has been with the business banking department since 2008. In his new role, he will be responsible for helping credit union members with business loans and other financial products and services. Kaley was previously contact center supervisor, helping oversee 70 percent of all incoming calls and contacts to the credit union, including all internet banking inquiries.

 

Ledyard National Bank

Kathy Underwood, president and CEO of Ledyard National Bank, was recently honored as the recipient of the 2017 Crystal Heart Award at the American Heart Association’s 4th annual Upper Valley Go Red for Women Luncheon. The Crystal Heart Award is presented annually by American Heart Association affiliates across the country to a local resident who is an advocate, volunteer and role model for improving the health of the community and who works to further the AHA’s mission “to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.”

 

Pentucket Bank

Pentucket Bank announced the following promotions:

  • Michelle Queenan has been promoted to assistant vice president and human resources officer. Queenan has been with Pentucket Bank for over five years, coming to Pentucket with over 12 years in the industry.
  • Pamela Wellington has been promoted to assistant vice president and senior branch manager. Wellington has been with Pentucket Bank for two years and came to Pentucket with over 10 years of experience in the banking industry.
  • Saima Alrai has been promoted to assistant vice president and senior branch manager. Alrai has worked at Pentucket Bank for two and a half years and has over 23 years of experience in retail banking.
  • Eric Paradis has been promoted to assistant vice president and database manager. Paradis has been working at Pentucket Bank for the last eight years and has experience as an information technology officer for the bank. He brings to Pentucket over 15 years of experience in the banking industry.

 

Plimoth Investment Advisors

Plimoth Investment Advisors has promoted George Oliveira to the position of chairman, and Steven A. Russo to the position of president and CEO. Oliveira oversees the operation of Plimoth Investment Advisors and is a senior member of the investment team, with asset management responsibilities across multiple client types. Prior to joining Plimoth Investment Advisors in 1998, Oliveira was a department head at two regional banks, Citizens Bank and Plymouth Savings Bank, for more than 22 years. Russo will assume the oversight of all internal functions performed by the companies operating divisions. He will also guide the organization through several strategic initiatives designed to both enhance the customers experience with Plimoth and continue to grow the firm’s assets under management. Russo will continue to be a member of the investment management team and manage client portfolios.

radius financial group inc. recently named Stephanie Fazio as director of strategic initiatives. Fazio brings over 15 years of experience in business process design and system integration. She has experience in extensive risk management, compliance, business process transformation, organizational goal setting and technical planning to her new role. Prior to joining radius, Fazio worked at Freddie Mac. The company also added Ryan McKenna as general counsel. Previously, McKenna worked for a Pacific Northwest mortgage lender.

 

Sagan Realtors

Sagan Realtors has welcomed Haley Paster Scimone to the firm. Scimone will provide residential real estate services in Marblehead, Swampscott and surrounding communities north of Boston with a focus on first time homebuyers and new construction. Scimone has more than 12 years of experience working in marketing and media sales.

STV|DPM announced the appointment of project executive Denise Pied to senior associate. Pied joined STV|DPM in 2000 and currently leads the office’s pursuits in the corporate, high tech and financial services business sectors, specializing in the planning and execution of large-scale tenant improvement projects both downtown and in the suburbs.
