Bay State Savings Bank
Bay State Savings Bank has promoted Heather L. Belair to assistant vice president and virtual branch manager for the Worcester-based bank. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing the bank’s online loan originations and account operations. Belair has been at Bay State Savings Bank since 2003.
Shana Hazen
Commerce Bank
Commerce Bank promoted Shana Hazen to assistant vice president. Previously manager of the Grafton Street branch in Worcester, Hazen joined the bank in 2003. She is a member of the Young Women’s Professional Association and the Women’s Information Network.
Dowd Insurance Agencies
The Dowd Insurance Agencies announced that David W. Griffin Jr. has been promoted to vice president. Griffin is based out of the Holyoke office and works with the other branches based in Hadley, Southampton, Ludlow and Indian Orchard. He joined the company in 2009.
Donahue Assoc. Inc.
Donahue Assoc. Inc. announced Tony Vacca has joined the brokerage team. He was previously a commercial agent with Jack Conway Commercial, based out of the Norwell office. He brings over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate sales and leasing. He will spearhead the company’s expansion project along the Route 3 corridor, along with working with clients throughout the South Shore market.

Partners Insurance Group LLC has promoted Lori Chaput to senior vice president of personal lines. In her expanded role at Partners, she will oversee the support, planning, development and delivery of training programs as it applies to computer and insurance applications.
Realtor Association of Pioneer Valley
Ruby L. Pontbriand of West Brookfield has joined the Realtor Association of Pioneer Valley as its marketing and communications director. She brings with her over five years of experience, having previously served as a corporate marketing communications specialist at MAPFRE Insurance in Webster. Previous positions include front office manager and sales director at the Hampton Inn in Sturbridge. For two years she served as a peer advisor at the Worcester State University Academic Success Center.
Customers Bank & New England Business Brokers Association
Jennifer Mason, Customers Bank vice president and SBA lender in the New England market, was elected as a director of the New England Business Brokers Association board by the association’s membership. Mason joined Customers Bank in April 2016 and provides SBA lending services from customers’ commercial and private lending office in Boston.

Boston-based architecture firm TRIA has hired Michelle Yack as a senior interior designer. She will work to integrate commercial interior design with lab design for the firm’s science and technology clients. Yack has 10 years of experience in the industry.
Warren Manigault
Webster Five
Webster Five Cents Savings Bank has hired G. Warren Manigault III as assistant vice president and senior branch manager of the Front Street, Worcester location. Warren comes to Webster Five with 20 years of experience working in sales and business development, with the last five years in the banking industry. In his new role at Webster Five, Warren oversees the daily operations of the Worcester branch, including staff supervision. He will be focused on sales, while participating in community relations, assisting with customer service and leading business development efforts.
