Cushman & Wakefield announced that Ryan Quick has been promoted to director in the firm’s asset services group. Quick has over 10 years of property management experience for a wide variety of commercial property types in the Boston and Washington, D.C., metro areas. He currently oversees a diverse, eight-building portfolio of properties in downtown Boston and the surrounding suburbs.

 

Grand Coast Capital Group

Grand Coast Capital Group, a Boston-based real estate investment and private lending firm, announced today John Shanahan has joined the team as senior asset manager. In this leadership role, Shanahan will utilize his finance and real estate industry experience to oversee Grand Coast Capital’s asset management, risk and loan servicing. Prior to his role at Grand Coast Capital, Shanahan held various positions at GE Capital Real Estate focused on finance, originations and asset management. In his new position with Grand Coast Capital, he will manage the firm’s commercial loans and asset portfolio, including business plans, leasing, capital programs and operating budgets. Additionally, he will oversee strategic investment of Grand Coast Capital’s portfolio based in the U.S. and Europe.

 

Middlesex Federal Savings

Edward T. Holleran Jr. has been appointed to the Middlesex Federal Savings board of directors. Holleran is president of the board of trustees of Matignon High School, a private secondary school located in Cambridge. He is also a member of the board of directors of National Cable Satellite Corp. and National Cable Television Cooperative Inc.

 

Peabody Real Estate

Peabody Real Estate, a full-service firm handling all aspects of residential and commercial real estate brokerage and an affiliate of Peabody Properties, announced the appointment of Alexandria Cornelio of Boston’s Back Bay as office manager of its 145 Commercial St. location in Boston’s North End. In this role, Cornelio will assist with the day-to-day operations of the new agency. Prior to joining Peabody Real Estate, Cornelio was a marketing associate at UDR, a firm specializing in apartment communities throughout the United States.

 

The Bulfinch Cos.

The Bulfinch Cos. Inc., a private real estate investment, development and management firm, announced the recent hiring of Conor Brennan as vice president of acquisitions to lead continued growth of the Bulfinch portfolio. Brennan joins Bulfinch from the investment team at Rubenstein Partners, a private equity firm headquartered in Philadelphia. In his role at Bulfinch, he is responsible for sourcing, analyzing and executing value-added investment opportunities in Bulfinch’s core markets and will also provide strategic support for financing and asset management.
