CRE firm Avison Young and environmental engineers Tighe & Bond make personnel changes in this week’s roundup, along with a host of community banks.

 

Ron PerryLawrence EpsteinAvison Young

Ron Perry and Larry Epstein have joined Avison Young in Boston as principals. Perry and Epstein bring 32 years and 16 years of commercial real estate experience, respectively, to Avison Young. Perry was most recently president and head of brokerage at Colliers International in Boston and Epstein most recently served as a senior vice president at Colliers. Also joining Avison Young are Jeff Gates and Mike McElaney as senior vice presidents, and Matt Perry as a senior associate. All three also specialize in office leasing and previously worked for Colliers in Boston.

 

Bay State Savings Bank

Worcester-based Bay State Savings Bank promoted Gerald Plange to senior consumer lending officer. Plange has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. He has been employed by Bay State Savings Bank since 1996, most recently as retail loan underwriter.

 

Blue Hills Bank

Blue Hills Bank has hired Lesley Santini Ryan and promoted Adriana Colon Valerie Rolli.

Ryan will lead the bank’s newest loan office in Winchester as vice president and senior loan officer. She comes from Winchester Savings Bank. Colon was previously assistant branch manager of its branch headquarters in Hyde Park and will now act as assistant vice president and branch manager of its Dedham branch. Rolli, currently assistant branch manager of the Westwood branch, will be assistant vice president and branch manager of the Norwood branch.

 

Ron GauthierMiddlesex Federal Savings

Middlesex Federal Savings hired Ronald J. Gauthier as commercial portfolio manager. Gauthier has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, including originating and managing construction loans and commercial portfolios. Prior to joining Middlesex Federal, Gauthier was a commercial loan officer at Georgetown Bank. He also worked at other Boston-area banks including TD Bank, Salem Five, the former BankBoston and Pioneer Bank.

 

Becky DowdRockland Trust

Rockland Trust announced that Becky Dowd has joined the bank’s Investment Management Group as vice president and financial consultant. Dowd is based in Osterville and offers investment management and insurance services to clients in communities throughout Cape Cod. She joins Rockland Trust from Bank of Cape Cod, where she was director of business development for middle market businesses on the South Shore and the Cape.

 

Joel LoithersteinTighe & Bond

Tighe & Bond has hired Joel Loitherstein to manage the company’s Massachusetts environmental site assessment and remediation practice as senior licensed site professional (LSP). He has managed his own environmental services firm for 20 years. Loitherstein is a founder and past president of the LSP Association, and was one of four LSPs selected by MassDEP to develop the first licensing examination. Additionally, F. Adam Yanulis has been hired as vice president of business development. He has been with the firm for two and a half years, and has over 30 years of engineering experience.
