Boston Community Capital
Susan Rivers has joined Boston Community Capital as CCO. Prior to joining BCC, Rivers served as global head of corporate communications at BNY Mellon Wealth Management. An award-winning journalist, Rivers wrote and edited with several major news outlets including The Wall Street Journal, Newsday and the Baltimore Sun. Her past work in the education sector includes serving as vice president of public affairs at Roger Williams University and associate director of development communications at Princeton University.
Brookline Bank
Jane Seiden Adler has joined Brookline Bank’s commercial real estate division. A long-time commercial real estate professional, Adler brings a broad range of buy- and sell-side experience to Brookline Bank, including loan origination, portfolio management, finance-related activities and property management.
The Dowd Agencies
Nick Vautrin been hired as an account executive at Holyoke-based insurance collective The Dowd Agencies. Prior to joining The Dowd Agencies, Vautrin was an operational supervisor for JB Hunt in North Hatfield, where he was responsible for managing the daily operations for C&S Wholesale Grocers. He also spent four years as a professional baseball player.
Jack Conway
Carol Bulman, CEO and president of Jack Conway & Co. Inc., was recently elected to the board of directors of the MLS Property Information Network. Bulman, daughter of the late Jack Conway, has more than 30 years of experience in her family’s firm and the Massachusetts housing industry. She is a 2011 recipient of Banker & Tradesman’s Women of FIRE Award; a past member of the executive committee of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and is currently the co-chair of the South Shore Redevelopment Committee.
Mechanics Cooperative Bank
Saher Riazuddin has joined Taunton-based Mechanics Cooperative Bank as vice president and commercial lending officer. Riazuddin joins Mechanics Cooperative Bank with several years of banking and business lending experience at SunTrust Bank, PNC Bank and HSBC.

Clayton Gritz has joined Boston-based Posternak Blankstein & Lund as an associate in the firm’s corporate and health care departments. Gritz counsels clients on a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, and also advises health care providers on a broad range of regulatory issues.

Miles H. Moffatt has joined Westford-based engineering firm Tighe & Bond as a technical director and vice president. A 33-year industry veteran, Moffatt has managed major water programs and projects for clients throughout the Northeast. He joins Tighe & Bond after working as U.S. chief engineer for water and a global leader for program management services at one of the world’s largest engineering firms.
Wild Apple Homes
Jeff Vincola has joined Wild Apple Homes, a general contractor based in Manchester-by-the-Sea, as field operations manager. Vincola will be responsible for planning, organizing and evaluating all field operations and identifying solutions to enhance operational effectiveness at Wild Apple Homes. Vincola brings extensive construction experience from over 20 years in the industry, including six years as a self-employed general contractor and eight years of high-end residential work at Windover Construction.
