Boston-based real estate investment manager AEW Capital Management has hired Lauren O’Neil as the chief operating officer of its private equity group, a newly created position. O’Neil comes to AEW from JLL, where she was a senior managing director and co-head of its Boston office.

Cambridge Trust Co. recently announced three new hires: Bradford J. Buckley, David Semenza and Remis Hackel. Hackel will be the company’s new chief marketing officer and joins the bank after 15 years at State Street Global Advisors and at HarbourVest Partners.
