Boston-based Berkshire Bank announced Dan Shertzer has been named first vice president and regional manager of its financial center network in eastern Massachusetts. 

North Shore Bank 

Joseph Wadlinger announced the hiring of David Grishman as a vice president in Beverly-based North Shore Bank’s commercial lending division. Prior to joining North Shore Bank, he was a vice president for Bank of New England. 

The Peabody Cos. 

Braintree property management and real estate firm The Peabody Cos. announced that Carolina Sholl has been named the accredited residential manager of the year by the Institute for Real Estate Management Boston Metropolitan Chapter No. 4. 

The Procopio Cos. 

Lynnfield-based developer The Procopio Cos. has announced the promotion of Bryan Vitale from vice president of development to senior vice president, strategy and investments. 

Rockland Trust Co.

Rockland Trust welcomed Spencer Eriksen to its security alarm lending team as vice president and loan officer. Eriksen joins Rockland Trust after spending over a decade with Citizen’s Bank in a variety of roles.  

Sanborn, Head & Assoc.

Boston engineering firm Sanborn, Head & Assoc. announced the addition of four new shareholders in the firm: 

• Heather Little is a leader in the firm’s solid waste market group 
• Rich Mechaber heads up the firm’s data management and visualization team 
• Tim Snay leads in the firm’s development practice. 
• Matt Van Rensler is leading the expansion of the firm’s practice in the mid-Atlantic from the company’s newest office in Wilmington, Delaware.

Scott W. Myers has joined Newton’s The Savings Bank team as vice president and commercial lender. Scott was previously with North Shore Bank, where he was vice president and commercial lender.

Chris McGowan has been named chief information and data officer for South Shore Bank.

Bank President and CEO James M. Dunphy was appointed to the Massasoit Community College board of directors by Gov. Charlie Baker.
