BPDA

The Boston Planning & Development Agency has hired Aimee Chambers as its new director of planning. Chambers, who was formerly director of planning for the city of Hartford, will serve under BPDA director and Chief of Planning Arthur Jemison. She has been tasked with revamping the city’s development review process, along with Deputy Chief of Urban Design Diana Fernandez, to make the development process more predictable for community members and developers and to reduce the number of proposals that require relief from the city Zoning Board of Appeal.

Brookline Bank

Brookline Bank has promoted Alicia Diamond as manager of its branch at 131 Clarendon St. in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood.

Burns & Levinson

Boston law firm Burns & Levinson announced that partner Leslie Muldowney has been named co-chair of the firm’s real estate practice group. Muldowney will share responsibility for overseeing the practice group with co-chair Michael MacClary.

Gloucester-based Cape Ann Savings Bank announced the appointment of Allyn “Chip” Smith III and Robert L. Visnick as members of its board of trustees. Smith is the COO of Rockport Mortgage Corp. while Visnick is a local attorney.

Clinton Savings Bank has hired Robert Hicks Jr. as its new assistant vice president and manager of its West Boylston branch.

Danvers-based Gienapp Architects has hired Amanda Ferrante as an architectural designer draftsperson.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Plymouth 

Carver-based Habitat for Humanity of Greater Plymouthhas promoted Amy Belmore to be its new executive director to succeed outgoing leader Jim Middleton. Belmore has been the nonprofit’s director of development and outreach since 2019.

HarborOne Bank 

Brockton-based HarborOne Bank has hired Dan Hagerty as its vice president of commercial lending. Hagerty was previously Rhode Island market senior vice president for Providence-based Citizens Bank.

Hancock Assoc.

Danvers engineering and surveying firm Hancock Assoc. announced that longtime employee James White has retired from its Boston division, called H.W. Moore. White had been with H.W. Moore since 1978.

Framingham-based MutualOne Bank has promoted Cheryl Suarez to assistant vice president and deposit operations manager.

Reading Cooperative Bank

Reading Cooperative Bank has hired Marianela Vazquez as senior vice president and COO. Vazquez previously worked on a digital loan origination system developed by the fintech Numerated.
