The Boston Planning & Development Agency has hired Luis R. Frias II as director of diversity, equity and inclusion. Frias will be a member of the BPDA’s senior leadership team and be charged with the development and oversight of the agency’s equity and diversity priorities. He was previously program manager for Engineering PLUS, a National Science Foundation-funded program at Northeastern University focused on creating supportive infrastructure for BIPOC and women engineering students.

East Cambridge Savings Bank announced that President and CEO Gilda Nogueira will retire and be replaced by Timothy E. Bombard, the bank’s executive vice president and chief lending officer.
