Swansea-based BayCoast Bank’s associate general counsel, Casey Brouthers, was given the Massachusetts Bankers Association’s 2023 Emerging Leader Award. The award celebrates a woman under the age of 40, who the association considers a “rising star” at her financial institution.

Cape Cod 5

Hyannis-based Cape Cod 5 announced that longtime board chair and former CEO Dorothy Savarese has retired after 30 years with the bank. She is succeeded in her role as board chair by Matt Burke, who also succeeded her as CEO.

ERA Key Realty Services 

Northbridge-based ERA Key Realty Services announced it has named MaryBeth Poblocki as head of its ERA Key – Great Spaces office in Boston. Poblocki was formerly an associate broker at William Raveis Real Estate in South Boston.

Federal Reserve Bank of Boston 

The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston has named Egon Zakrajšek as its new director of economic research. Zakrajšek was most recently senior advisor in the monetary and economic department of the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland. He succeeds Geoffrey Tootell, who retired earlier this year.

GFA Federal Credit Union 

Gardner-based GFA Federal Credit Union announced three new members of its board of directors: retired GFA president and CFO Charles P. Bowles, Latrobe Specialty Steel Distribution’s retiring purchasing manager Douglas R. Delay and Mark Hawke, the Gardner School District’s director of finance and operations.

Greystar 

National developer Greystar has hired Matt DeNoble as a senior director of investment management in its growing life sciences development business. DeNoble was most recently director of asset management at The Bulfinch Cos.

JLL

Commercial real estate brokerage JLL announced it has hired three experienced hands in the world of senior housing. Senior Managing Directors Jay Wagner and Richard Swartz, who will co-lead JLL Capital Markets’ Boston-based senior housing team, and San Diego-based Senior Managing Director Aaron Rosenzweig will focus on investment sales, joint venture equity and financing transactions throughout the U.S.

KeyBank

Ohio-based KeyBank has promoted Mark Commune to senior vice president and market leader for the bank’s Connecticut and Massachusetts operations.

Main Street Bank

Marlborough-based Main Street Bank has hired Christopher Seidlich as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Seidlich was formerly a senior vice president and the CFO of Rollstone Bank & Trust in Leominster.

The Massachusetts Business Congress

The Massachusetts Business Congress, a professional association for those in the design and construction fields, has hired Michelle Hopson as its new executive director to replace the retiring Jan Breed.
