The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod

The Hyannis-based Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod has hired Kate DiMascolo as an investment executive in its Cape Cod Financial Services wealth management division. She joins the bank from Merrill Lynch, where she was a financial advisor.

IBEW Local 103

Boston-based Local 103 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers announced that one of its business agents, master electrician Renee Dozier, has been appointed to the Massachusetts Board of State Examiners of Electricians, filling a seat designated for masters of their craft.

Merrimack Valley Credit Union

Lawrence-based Merrimack Valley Credit Union announced that President and CEO John J. Howard and Assistant Vice President of Member Support Zobeida Duarte were honored by the main trade group for credit unions in New England. Howard was named CEO of the year and Duarte was named young professional of the year by the Cooperative Credit Union Association.

Metro Credit Union 

Chelsea-based Metro Credit Union said it had hired Lawrence Stanford as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Prior to Metro, Stanford was the controller at Colonial Federal Savings Bank in Quincy.

The Peabody Cos.

Braintree-based property management and real estate firm The Peabody Cos. said that one of its property managers, Marcia Stulsky, has been awarded a scholarship by the Boston chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management to pursue an Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) credential.

Plumbers and Gasfitters Local 12 

The Greater Boston Plumbing Contractors Association gave former Plumbers and Gasfitters Local 12 business agent Harry Brett, currently the international representative for the United Association, the national plumbers union, a lifetime achievement award for his work expanding Local 12’s training center and doubling the number of its apprentices and for his work at the United Association to “bridge the gap between the UA national organization and local unions.”

Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors Association of Greater Boston

The Greater Boston Plumbing Contractors Association gave Hugh Kelleher, executive director of the Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors Association of Greater Boston, a lifetime achievement award.
