Polar Beverages Warehouse Sold to Westbrook

Westbrook Partners has acquired a 285,437-square-foot distribution center leased to Polar Beverages near the company’s Worcester headquarters for $34.5 million.

The property at 26 Southbridge St. in Auburn serves as a local, national and international distribution center for the beverage company.

Newmark’s capital markets team represented the seller, New York-based GPT Worcester Owner LLC, and procured the buyer. The property includes ample clear heights, column spacing, truck court width, loading and parking capacity, Newmark Executive Managing Director Matthew Mullen said in a statement.

The property previously sold for $21.5 million in September 2014, according to Worcester County Registry of Deeds data.
