Pressed Café has signed a 10-year lease for 3,500 square feet at The District in Burlington.

The District, formerly the New England Executive Park, is currently being transformed into a mixed-use development.

The 150-seat café scheduled to open in fall 2016 will feature all-day breakfast and a menu that includes paninis, salads, soups, local micro-roasted coffee and cold brew, espresso drinks, smoothies and fresh-pressed juice.

The café was founded by Roi Shpindler, who opened the first Pressed Café last year in Nashua, New Hampshire.

National Development, AEW Capital Management and Charles River Realty Investors acquired the 13-building office park located between Burlington Mall Road and Route 128 in June 2013 for $216 million. The new owners are adding a 350-car parking garage, 80,000 square feet of office space and new retail and common-area amenities. Software company Black Duck is expanding by 15,000 square feet and new tenants include Trillium Software, which relocated from Billerica, and Ping Identity, which will move from Waltham.

A building permit for a 170-room Marriott Residence Inn is being challenged by the town’s planning board, which claims the extended-stay hotel is not permitted within the planned development district approved by town meeting two years ago. The park also contains a 180,000-square-foot, build-to-suit parcel.
