A publicly-traded biotech company from Lexington is the first tenant to commit to the Revolution Labs speculative life science conversion.

Keros Therapeutics will relocate to the 180,000-square-foot facility at 1050-1070 Waltham St. which is being redeveloped by Boston-based Greatland Realty Partners and Singerman Real Estate of Chicago. Keros specializes in treatments for hematological and musculoskeletal disorders.

The 35,662-square-foot lease runs for eight years. JLL represented ownership in the lease transaction, while CBRE represented Keros.

On Sept. 16, Callahan Construction Managers topped off the 442-space parking garage that will serve the redevelopment designed by SGA.

Greatland specializes in conversion of suburban office buildings into life science space and has projects in the works in Weston and Marlborough and 10 Maguire Road in Lexington.
