Robert Paul Properties has bought JACKSON Ltd., the oldest independently owned brokerage in Norwell.

A purchase price for the 35-year-old boutique firm founded by longtime top South Shore agent Patty Jackson was not disclosed.

Jackson’s office in Norwell Village will continue operations under the Robert Paul name. Jackson and her associate, Pamela Larson, will continue working as agents for Robert Paul Properties.

“Patty Jackson and I have long had a mutual admiration for each other. Her level of client service is a perfect fit for the Robert Paul brand. I look forward to working with her in this exciting new venture,” Robert Paul Properties co-CEO Paul Grover said in a statement.

The deal gives Robert Paul Properties its first South Shore location, and the ninth overall.

“Being a midpoint between Boston and Cape Cod is a huge advantage,” Jackson said in a statement. “I have been able to grow my business through good, honest advice and putting all my effort into helping my clients. I look forward to continuing this as a part of Robert Paul as we combine our talents together.”
