A retail strip center in a former furniture store and industrial building in Salem was sold to Symes Assoc. of Beverly.

The 39,014-square-foot building at 138-142 Canal St. sold for $11.35 million.

The recently-redeveloped retail strip center is leased to tenants including Family Dollar, O’Reilly Auto Parts and Paradise Dentist. The sale also includes the former Jeffrey’s furniture store building and an adjacent industrial building on adjacent parcels.

Neil Denenberg, president of Boston-based Denenberg Realty Advisors, represented the seller. Gregg Leppo of Coldwell Banker represented Symes.
