Chef Jason Santos has announced a grand opening on Monday for his newest restaurant, a New Orleans-inspired bistro at Arsenal Yards in Watertown.
The 160-seat restaurant is the second Buttermilk & Bourbon location in Greater Boston, following the 2017 opening of the 160 Commonwealth Ave. restaurant in Back Bay. The Watertown location will exclusively serve up brick-oven baked oysters along with Southern staples such as fried buttermilk chicken.
Assembly Designs led the interior plans including tin ceiling tiles and walls covered in New Orleans-style murals. The layout includes a four-season patio with a retractable roof and seating capacity for 60 patrons.
Buttermilk & Bourbon joins Shake Shake and City Works Eatery & Pour House as dining options at the 1-million-square-foot Arsenal Yards mixed-use development.
