Bija Satterlee has joined Hammond Residential Real Estate’s Lexington office.

Satterlee had formerly been with Bowes Real Living in Arlington, where she regularly taught seminars for first-time home buyers.

"Bija is an experienced agent with a deep understanding of how to assess the real estate needs of first-time homebuyers through empty-nesters," Kurt Meehan, manager of the Lexington office, said in a statement. "She is deeply-rooted and knowledgeable about Lexington and the surrounding communities. We are pleased that Bija has chosen to affiliate with Hammond."

A native of Colorado, Satterlee is a former personal trainer and professional ballroom dancer who represented the United States three times at the World Championships. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors, and training her Chihuahua to perform circus and agility tricks.
